Magnum Mello Foletto is Co-CEO of Brasil TecPar S/A, a business platform dedicated to consolidating Brazil's internet, technology, and telecommunications markets. The company is among the five largest competitive internet companies in the country.

He has been an entrepreneur since the age of 14, when he founded his first company in the countryside of Rio Grande do Sul. With more than 25 years of experience in technology, over the past decade he has led and taken part in the merger and acquisition of more than 50 internet service providers and technology companies. Before Brasil TecPar, he was president of Gaúcha TecPar S/A — an investment holding focused on IT, cloud, internet, and connectivity — and CEO of Ávato, a leader in corporate IT and connectivity services in southern Brazil.

He served as president of InternetSul in 2018 and 2019, the association representing internet service providers in Brazil's South region, and sat on the Technical Committee of the MPE Brasil Award, run by the National Quality Foundation (FNQ), in 2010 and 2011. He was named Entrepreneur of the Year in 2018 and 2019 by business associations in Rio Grande do Sul.

His work centers on corporate management and finance, strategic planning, company integration, and telecommunications infrastructure for critical, high-availability environments — having led major connectivity projects for companies and institutions across Brazil. He is a member of the Internet Society and an advocate of free and open-source software.

Beyond the numbers, he describes his own work as that of someone learning to turn intensity into constancy: deciding under uncertainty, reading people and situations well before the spreadsheet, and building businesses that last.

He is married to Shana Fernanda Foletto and is the father of Máximo, Olímphio, and Vithória.
